Portfolio Reporting Specialist
Primarily works independently to manage written client/intermediary requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), due diligence questionnaire (DDQs), client reporting. Provides quantitative and qualitative information about our investment strategies to intermediaries, clients and prospects. Identifies opportunities to improve contents for use globally, streamline processes and may participate in and lead RFP and departmental projects.
Prepares and reviews responses to RFPs, RFIs and DDQs.
Coordinates and responds to complex RFPs, RFIs and DDQs
Creates and develops written content to describe our investment philosophy and process across our strategies and accountable for ensuring responses are accurate, timely and appropriate
Utilizes our internal databases of approved information and language (PMAPS) and coordinates closely with the teamfs global content manager to enhance and ensure optimal information for use across RFPs, RFIs and DDQs
Monitors in-coming requests and is proactive in responding to requests, assigning work and problem solving more complex issues as needed
Partners with Sales teams, Investment Specialists Legal and Compliance, and other internal groups to formalize strategy on response to complex requests
Partners with team member to finalize client reporting
Interprets information and statistical data.
Gathers complex statistical data and information relating to investment strategies from databases and internal systems
Ensures consistency with consultant/third party database information, and provides expertise to the Investment Information Services team, as needed
Effectively prioritizes client/intermediary requests to ensure timely responses based on the relationship and the type of inquiry
Provides direction and feed back to other associates and assists them in completing their assignments. May review RFPs/RFIs/client reports for others on the team, as needed.
Serves as the subject matter expert to the business for RFP/RFI/DDQ/client reporting related information.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
In-depth knowledge of investment strategies and general portfolio statistics and ability to analyze data and information
In-depth knowledge of industry tools and applications (e.g. PMAPS, FAMIS)
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent writing skills and command of grammar in Japanese
Intermediate communication skill in English.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills as well as ability to work independently and as part of a team.
